Definition
Document areas are the uppermost layer in content models, and provide the context for document processing. In an application in which documents play a role, document areas can be used to group together documents that are used for similar purposes. Classes, categories, and repositories can be assigned to document areas.
Use
When a document area is activated in the Knowledge Provider development layer, it is transferred to the runtime layer.
Structure
The document area contains other entities that make up the content model. All entities are grouped in folders according to their category. The folders in a document area are as follows:
