 Sending of a Questionnaire to a Candidate

Purpose

You send questionnaires to candidates to elicit further information from them in addition to the details contained in their profile. You send questionnaires by means of Activity Management . Candidates receive an e-mail containing a link to the questionnaire. They log on to the E-Recruiting system through the link and complete the questionnaire. The completed questionnaire is available to the succession planner for reporting purposes.

Prerequisites

You have created questionnaires using the Creation of a Questionnaire process and thus set up a Questionnaire Library .

You have created letter templates in Customizing for SAP E-Recruiting with the help of SAP Smart Forms and assigned these to the Request Questionnaire activity type.

Process Flow

  1. You select one or more candidates who are assigned to a succession plan.

  2. You choose Activities and create a new activity for the candidates.

  3. You select a process and the Questionnaire activity, and then create the activity.

  4. You assign a questionnaire to the activity. You can use the search help function to do so.

    Note : If the activity type you select is part of a process template, there may be a default questionnaire already assigned to the activity type. You do not have to accept this default. You can assign a different questionnaire using the search help function.

  5. You select the Questionnaire Visible to Applicant field if you want to enable the candidate to display the completed questionnaire when it has been saved.

  6. You save your entries.

  7. Depending on the required questionnaire category, you select the Request Questionnaire activity and create the activity.

  8. You select the activity you have just created, which contains the questionnaire, as the Reference Activity .

  9. You assign a letter template , which will be sent with the questionnaire. You adjust the template to meet your requirements.

  10. You save your entries.

  11. You choose E-Mail to send the questionnaire immediately by e-mail.

Result

You have sent the candidate a questionnaire and a letter. The candidate completes the questionnaire and returns it to you.

You can then display the completed questionnaires or you can use the Ranking by Questionnaire function to compare the questionnaire responses of various candidates with one another.
