Editing Differentiated Business Partner Data
You can use the Differentiation of Business Partner Information function to differentiate or define different values for the following business partner data, in order to reflect different points of view:
This data is differentiated in specific business partner roles based on differentiation criteria.
You are on the Maintain Business Partner
screen and have selected a business partner role for the business partner to be edited that allows business partner data to be differentiated.
Choose the Differentiation
pushbutton.
The differentiated business partner data appears in edit mode.
In the Differentiation
field, enter the differentiation criterion to be used to differentiate the business partner data.
You can enter your own differentiation criteria or assign existing differentiation criteria, depending on the Customizing settings.
You can choose the Assigned Differentiations
pushbutton to display all the differentiation criteria for the business partner.
Edit the business partner attributes assigned to the differentiation criterion on the following tab pages: Additional Information
, Ratings
, Customer Segment
, and Bank Analyzer Characteristics
(if you are using Bank Analyzer).
When you differentiate business partner relationships, enter the differentiation criterion in the business partner relationship category.
You have edited business partner attributes for one specific differentiation criterion. You can further process the data you entered by choosing the Differentiation
pushbutton and selecting the assigned differentiation criterion.
You can enter further differentiation criteria with different values for the attributes Additional Information
, Ratings
, and Differentiated Attributes (Customer Segment)
.
The values that you enter directly on the Maintain Business Partner
screen on the Additional Information
and Ratings
tab pages are not affected by the differentiation, and can be edited independently of the differentiated business partner data.
