 Creating Information Structures

To create a new information structure, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Archive Retrieval Configurator (ARC) initial screen, choose Start of the navigation path Archive Info Structure Next navigation step Create End of the navigation path .

  2. This takes you to the dialog box Archive Retrieval Configurator .

  3. Enter the required information.

  4. This should include the name of the new archive information structure, the name of the archiving object for which the information structure is intended and a field catalog, which you can select from a list using input help. In the field on the right you can also enter a short text for the information structure

  5. Choose Create .

  6. This takes you to the dialog box Archive Retrieval Configurator .

  7. In the right frame, select all the fields that you want to include in the information structure.

  8. Choose: Include Selected Fields .

  9. The selected fields are included in the information structure in the left frame.

  10. Save your entries Choose Return to go back to the ARC entry screen
