  Archiving Session Detail: XML Archiving

Use

You can use this screen to view more detailed information about the resourceswithin an archiving session.

Prerequisites

You are in the Archive Administration: Initial Screen (transaction SARA). You have entered the name of the XML archiving object in the Object Name field. Archived data is available for display in archive management.

Procedure

  1. Choose Management .

    The screen Archive Management: Overview of Archiving Sessions appears .

  2. Within the appropriate status expand all nodes down to the collection that contains the archiving session you wish to view.

    Note Note

    Generally the hierarchy that is displayed is specific to the archiving object you entered. You first see the home pathof the collections of your archiving sessions, which usually adheres to the following naming convention: /<SYSID>/<CLIENT>/<OBJECT>/, where OBJECT is your archiving object. The lowest collection of your home path can contain several sub collections, which in most cases correspond to your archiving sessions. It is possible, however, for one collection to contain several XML archiving sessions.

  3. Double-click on the archiving session you want to view. The Archive Administration: Archiving Session Detail Screen appears.

    • Choose XSD/XSL List to view a list of the XML schemas or style sheets in the collection. To call up a technical view of the contents of a resource, double-click on one of the resources in the list.

    • Choose List of Resources to view a list of the resources contained in the collection. To call up a technical view of the contents of a resource, double-click on one of the resources in the list.

Result

You viewed details for an archiving session and branched to other detail screens, including a technical view of the individual resources.
