 Inspection Plan Deletion

Use

You can use this function to delete inspection plans without archiving .

Caution Caution

Deleting objects without archiving can lead to loss of data. Use this type of deletion process solely for data that was created for test purposes.

Prerequisites

You can only delete inspection plans that are not being used.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Quality management Next navigation step Quality planning Next navigation step Inspection planning Next navigation step Inspection plan Next navigation step Delete. End of the navigation path

The Delete Task Lists Without Archiving screen appears.

  1. Enter your required selection criteria.

  2. If necessary, set the following indicators:

    Set the indicator

    You only want to select plans that have a deletion flag

    Deletion flag

    In this case, you can only delete complete plans. You cannot delete individual inspection plan objects.

    You want to delete all inspection plans and plan objects from the database that you have only deleted online, (using the transaction for changing plans).

    Objects deleted online

    You want to delete datasets for the whole period

    Task lists

    The system deletes all plans that fulfill your selection criteria.

    You want the system to check whether an inspection plan is still being used before the deletion run

    Check for task list usages

    You want to create a deletion log

    Log

    If the inspection plan check identifies an inspection plan that is still being used or that fulfills your user-specific inspection criteria, the deletion program completes its run.

  4. Choose Execute.

Result

  • The plans you selected or plan objects are completely deleted from the database.

  • You receive a standard log if you set the Log indicator. If you did not set this indicator, the deletion program terminates as soon as it selects an inspection plan that is still being used.
