 Creation of Activities for Several Assignments Simultaneously

Purpose

You can use this process to create identical activities simultaneously for several assignments of candidates to a requisition or application group (mass processing). In this way you can send questionnaires or an invitation for an interview to several candidates at the same time.

You can use the activities that are assigned to the Recruitment process group. You create activities to represent the recruitment process.

Prerequisites

You are a member of the support team for the requisition or application group to which the candidates are assigned. You have performed the Display of Assignments to Requisition/Application Group process and obtained a list of candidates that are assigned to a selected requisition or application group.

Process Flow

  1. You select several candidates and choose the Edit Activities function.

    The Activities – Mass Processing view appears. This contains a list of the candidates that you previously selected and for whom you want to create activities.

    Alternatively, you can use the Create Activities function.

  2. You select a process and an associated activity , and then create the activity.

  3. The Activity Details view appears.

  4. You enter the required information and save your entries. The type of data to be stored varies according to the activity type.

  5. The system displays a summary of the mass processing. A message appears if any problems occurred when the activities were created.

  6. If necessary, you create further activities.

Result

You have simultaneously created one or more identical activities for selected assignments in the form of mass processing.
