 Changing a LO: Rent Reductions

  • By means of this function, you maintain time-dependent rent reductions of condition amounts. A requirement is that the condition type is marked as suitable for rent reduction in Customizing.

  • Rent reductions are normal (generally temporary) condition items with a special condition type. You change and display them like all the other conditions.

  • When you access the rent reduction, the conditions for the last valid condition header of the lease-out are always displayed.

  1. Starting from the general menu, choose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Real estate management Next navigation step Rental management Next navigation step Rental Next navigation step .. End of the navigation path

  2. You branch to lease-out management.

  3. Choose Start of the navigation path Lease-out Next navigation step Change Next navigation step Rent reduction. End of the navigation path

  4. Enter the company code and number of the lease-out and choose the Basic data field or pressENTER .

  5. The conditions suitable for a reduction in rent are indicated by the SRn field being selected. You can define rent reductions only for these condition types.

  6. To specify a rent reduction for the condition, position the cursor on the corresponding condition and choose the Choose function.

Enter the amount in the dialog box by which the condition should be reduced.

  • Enter the amount with a minus sign, for example 200.00-,

  • The effective from date is only required if rent reduction is to be limited to a certain period. If you do not enter an effective from date, the end date of the lease-out is set automatically.

If the reduction falls into a period, in which you have already carried out a debit position, the corresponding follow-up postings are created.

  1. Choose Back to copy the rent reduction.

you want to display an overview and the old and new cash flow,

choose Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Cash flow (old) End of the navigation path or Cash flow (new) .

you want to change conditions for another condition header,

choose the Other date function .

If follow-up postings are created due to the changes, enter in the dialog box the date as of which the follow-up postings are to be made.
