Displaying Original Application Files from the Server

The following graphic shows how an original application file is displayed when it is saved on a server. The graphic also shows how the system determines the data so the user can display the original application file using a workstation application.

In this example the secure area is not a storage system that can be accessed using the Knowledge Provider. This secure area was defined in the settings in Customizing of DMS (vault, archive, SAP database).
