As a structure, choose
one axis with key figure.
You can use a SAP standard form as a template. To do so, choose
Copy from
and select the desired SAP standard form.
Choose Create.
The
Report Painter

Choose
. The
Element definition
screen appears.
General selections
Selected the characteristics you want to use from the characteristics available. Select the characteristic you want to use and insert it in the list of selected characteristics via the button.
Enter a value or range for the selected characteristics.
Example
If you define an actual/actual year comparison form, the values should be actual values for all characteristics. You thus select from the available characteristics
Plan/actual key figure
and enter
0
in the
From
field for actual data.
To return to the display of your form, choose
Confirm
.
Make the character definitions , that is, define the characteristics for the individual columns :
Note
The key figure column defines the characteristic with which your valuations are structured. In the G/L Account Information System, the hierarchical order of the account numbers is typically the account number or the financial statement version. You define the characteristic
key figure
when defining the
report
, that is, you do not have to define this characteristic in the form.
For the individual columns, select the column header with the name

If you have already defined columns, you can make calculations between these columns.
To do so, choose the column in which you want to make the calculations and choose the element type
Formula
. The formula editor, in which your predefined columns are defined as identifiers, appears. In the formula editor, you can use the basic mathematical calculations (+,-,*,/).
Example
For an actual/actual year comparison, you could, for example, make the following characteristic definitions for the individual columns:
First column: Financial statement values for a specific year |
Second column: Corresponding values for the previous year |
Third column: Difference between the first and second column |
|
---|---|---|---|
|
|
|
|

|
|
Enter the formula using the formula editor: X001 - X002 |
|
Fiscal year as predefined global variable: &1FY |
Previous fiscal year as a variable: &1FY-1 |
You can copy the characteristic definition of a column and insert the definition in another column. To do so, select the column to be copied using , position the cursor on the column to which it is to be copied, and choose .
To return to the display of your form, choose

If you use variables in the characteristic definition, you can also enter variables for the column names. The text for the column header is thus determined when the report is run.
Note
For an actual/actual year comparison, you can enter the following texts for the first column:
Text type |
Example |
