You can use this process to create a job posting for a requisition. The job posting contains the texts that are published in the posting channels. You can store the texts in different languages.
When creating a job posting, you should always keep in mind the posting channels that are used later on to publish this job posting.
Before creating a job posting, you must first create the corresponding requisition .
You select the
Job Postings
tab page in the Requisition Maintenance.
You choose
Create Job Posting
. The system switches to the job posting wizard.
You enter the
descriptions
of the job posting in the languages in which you want to publish the job posting. You then save your entries.
A tab page on which you can enter the texts is then provided for each language available in SAP E-Recruiting.
You enter and save the
basic data
for the job posting.
You obtain an overview of the job posting using the
Data Overview
.
You change the status of the job posting to
released
. If you do not have the necessary authorization to make status changes, you must

.
The job posting cannot be
released
if the associated requisition has not been released.
You have created a job posting for a requisition. You can now create more job postings or create publications for a job posting.
If you change a job posting that has already been released, then the changes made do not have an effect on existing publications for this job posting. If you still want to make changes to a publication, you must withdraw the existing publication and then create a new publication that is based on the changed requisition.
These restrictions for the publications are because the system “freezes” the data of the associated job posting at the moment when a publication is released. It is not possible to change this data later on.
