 Extending the Retention Period of a Requisition

Use

You want to extend the time limit until which you must retain the data for a requisition in compliance with legal requirements.

Prerequisites

You are an administrator and have the relevant authorizations as stored in the E-Recruiting Administrator role.

Procedure

  1. Choose Retention Periods of Requisitions on your start page.

    The system displays a list of the requisitions to which you have access.

  2. In the Extended Storage until column for a requisition, enter the date up to which the requisition is to be retained or, if necessary, overwrite the date that is already entered there.

  3. Save your entries.

Result

You have extended the retention period that the system automatically assigned to the requisition. The system then uses the extended deadline from the Retain until and Extended Storage until columns to determine the retention period. This period is taken into account when deleting requisitions, for example.

Note Note

The retention period created automatically can still be increased retroactively by the system. This is the case, for example, if a candidate withdraws his or her application. From this moment on, the requisition must remain in the system at least until the retention period has been achieved.
