Reel Master Data for the Reel Calculation
Use
You enter data in the material master of the reel that is relevant for the reel type. This data enables the system to determine the optimal reel for a cable.
Integration
You define the Reel Type Sequence (in other words, the order in which the system reads the relevant reel types) in the basic data for the reel calculation.
Prerequisites
You have created a material master containing technical data about the
inner width
,
load capacity
,
outer diameter,
and
core diameter
for each reel type to be taken into account in the reel calculation in the specified sequence.
You have used material type
MRM1
(Mill reel) so that you can enter the technical data required for the reel calculation in the
Reel Data
view when you create the reel master data.

Enter the following data required by the reel calculation in the material master of the reel:
