  Candidacy

Definition

Assignment between a succession plan and a candidate.

Note Note

The term assignment is used on the user interface instead of the term candidacy .

End of the note.

Use

The system creates a candidacy to create a relationship between a candidate and a succession plan. This is the case if you assign a candidate to a succession plan. Most of the activities in the Succession Planning activity category that are performed for a candidate are stored in the respective candidacy.

Status

The status of a candidacy can have the following specifications:

  • In Process (Until now, no final decision has been made.)

  • Withdrawn (The candidate withdrew the application.)

  • Rejected (The candidate is unsuitable for the succession plan but may be suitable for other succession plans.)

  • To Be Hired (The candidate is suitable for the succession plan and is foreseen for the key position or key job.)
