 Activating Advance Payment Adjustments

Use

Activate the adjustment to update the advance payment adjusted during the sales calculation.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Real estate management Next navigation step Rental accounting Next navigation step Sales-based rents Next navigation step Advance payments Next navigation step Activate adjustment End of the navigation path

  2. Enter your selection criteria.

  3. You have the following options in the selection screen:

    Procedure

    You do not want to activate all rent adjustments of one adjustment run ( User-ID(s) or Valid from date)

    Select the lease-outs for which you want to activate the rent adjustment in the Business entity, Rental unit, Lease-out fields.

    You want to activate directly all adjustments of an object selection

    Flag the Activate directly? field

  5. Choose Execute.

  6. Enter the approval or rejection of the adjustment.

    Select the required lease-out and choose the Details .

    In the Approved from field, enter the date of the approval.

    Select the required lease-out and choose Details .

    In the Reversal date field, enter the date of the accepted rejection.

    In the Increase field, you can change the adjustment.

  8. To copy the approval of the adjustment, choose Save .

  9. Lease-outs with an approval of the rent adjustment can be recognized by an indicator. Only lease-outs with this selection can be activated.

  10. You have to activate approved advance payment adjustments to update them in the lease-out.

    1. If you have an entered approval but you do not want to activate an adjustment (yet), remove the selection in front of the contract by selecting the contract and choose Deselect .

    2. To activate the selected rent adjustments, choose Activate .

Caution Caution

If you have not entered either an approval or a reversal, the condition type for this lease out cannot be automatically adjusted until an approval or reversal is entered.
