Control of Reference Class (BAdI)

Use

This function enables you to define your own reference classes for the delivery-related trading unit change (DTUC) and to enhance or delete DTUC-relevant characteristics.

Integration

This function is available in the transaction DTUC Processing Delivery (MILL_CUT_LBA).

Prerequisites

In Customizing for Logistics Execution , you must create and activate your own implementation for the BAdI /SAPMP/LE_LBA by choosing Start of the navigation path Shipping Next navigation step Deliveries Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change (DTUC) Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) BAdI: Enhancements to DTUC Processing End of the navigation path .

Features

The BAdI /SAPMP/LE_LBA contains the following methods:

CHANGE_LBA_CLASS (Change Reference Class)

You store the reference class for the DTUC in Customizing for the Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change , under Shipping-Point-Dependent Activation of DTUC . You can use this method to define customer-specific reference classes in the classification. During the DTUC check, you can access your customer-specific reference classes instead of the reference classes stored in Customizing. In addition, you can use this method to change the activation indicator during the DTUC check.
CHANGE_LBA_CHAR (Influence DTUC-Relevant Characteristics)

During the DTUC check, the system reads all the characteristics that are defined in the reference class. You can use this method to store your own check logic and enhance or delete the DTUC-relevant characteristics during DTUC processing. In cases where a capacity bottleneck makes it impossible to spool, and where the batch should be delivered despite the fact that it contains deviating characteristics, during DTUC processing you can specify that the system should not check the DTUC-relevant characteristics or, if necessary, that it should check only the additional characteristics.
