The structure of the succession plan contains the following data:
Data containing the actual key positions, key jobs, or organizational units for which potential successors are to be found using the succession plan.
The general job information contains the basic data required for succession plan management, as well as specifications regarding the succession candidate's job details and payment information.
The support team consists of persons who process a succession plan together and search for suitable candidates. The various team members have different roles depending on the tasks they undertake in the succession planning process.
Data on the competencies and qualifications a candidate must have in order to be considered as a successor.
Data on the education and training and proficiencies thereof a candidate must have in order to be considered as a successor.
Electronic documents that supplement the succession plan.
Data on the status and reason why a certain status has been set.
The status of the succession plan indicates its processing state.
The following statuses are possible:
Draft
Released
Closed
To Be Deleted
The succession plan is only displayed on the user interface for administrators.
On Hold
The succession plan can be used again at another point in time.
