Use

The framework architecture allows you to integrate customer components in the CIC .

Integration

Customer components can be integrated in a screen area (slot) of the framework or in the navigation or application area .

Prerequisites

You have developed a component of your own in the customer name range. This component can be visible or invisible.

Customer Component in the Framework

If you want to make the customer component available in a slot in the framework or as a background function (invisible component), you need to make the customer-specific system modifications in Customizing. These include specifying the function module used to access the component and the profile type.

Customer Component in the Navigation or Application Area

If you want to make the customer component available on a tab page in the navigation or application area , you must enter it in the view cluster CCMCMPWSP , specifying its technical name, the long text, and the class.
