The output control function allows you to automatically create output concerning a user-defined event and to automatically send it to internal or external communication partners.
In Customizing for the
Document Management System,
you can define statuses for each document type that trigger a particular output to a partner (for example, an internal e-mail partner) by choosing
Output.

This function allows you to display information on mail messages that have been sent and information on message processing.
