This component contains NF-specific functions that supplement the standard R/3 System applications.

You should use it if you want to use NF metal processing.

Implementation Considerations

Many functions have been enhanced with regard to the handling of NF materials. However, the functions are based on the standard functions of Materials Management.

Features

In NF metal processing you can take different price agreements and forms of settlement such as coverage and provision into account. The form of settlement you select is controlled using the rate determination key. In pricing a variety of rate determination routines are used. They are set using the rate determination key.

As the rates for NF metals are often not entered in the system immediately, the system normally takes the last available rate to perform provisional pricing. In this case, the system also sets an invoice block. When invoicing is performed, pricing is repeated automatically.
