During the synchronization process between
Mobile Travel Expenses (MTR)
and the SAP system conflicts can occur if a trip is changed offline and in the SAP system at the same time.
Online/Offline conflicts are treated as follows:
An SAP system trip is not immediately overwritten if it has been changed in both the SAP system and
MTR
since the last synchronization took place.
If the trip causing the conflict contains credit card items, the system with control of the credit card document buffer must “win” the conflict. The offline user is informed that this will take place upon the next synchronization.
If the trip causing the conflict does not contain credit card items, the offline user is informed of the conflict and has the option of forcing the changes or copying the SAP system status of the trip into the offline application.
Note
In both scenarios, the approval of trips takes place in the same way as for other changes.
If a conflict occurs with a trip that does not contain credit card items, you can display the affected trip as follows:
Trips that were changed offline can be displayed by clicking on the start date.
Trips that were changed in the SAP system can be displayed by choosing the conflict icon in the status column.
