Archiving

You can use the archiving function for an EMCS sequence. The system only deletes data of completed EMCS sequences.

Note that the EMCS data is also available in SAP GTS, and that it is actually archived there.

Activities

To “archive” EMCS sequences, choose Start of the navigation path Tools Next navigation step ABAP Workbench ABAP Editor End of the navigation path , and enter /BEV2/CS_ARCHIVE in the Program field.

Note that this program does not archive data in the true sense of archiving, but rather it deletes the EMCS data used.
