Using the Wyoming Form 2 Report

Use

Use Wyoming Form 2 to report volumes of oil or gas produced by wells, for wells producing in the state of Wyoming.

The Wyoming Form 2 is the “Operator’s Monthly Report of Wells”. The report reports on:

Volumes produced and sold

Volumes injected into wells.

Report results can be submitted using the smartforms. The report is submitted to the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (WOGC).

For more information on the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission, please refer to the WOGC website at: http://wogcc.state.wy.us/

You process this report in the ERP system using the centralized PRA Production Regulatory Reporting ‘framework’ transaction (see: The Production Regulatory Reporting Framework ), which involves:

Master data setup (creating Regulatory IDs to reflect wells you are reporting on)

Report generation

Report submission

Report history display, and display of well records changed due to prior period notifications

With respect to theWyomingreport:

The report is a report of one operator for one field, on a well-by-well basis.

All volumes produced and sold by the well completions are grouped per lease/unit under a field.

Volumes of oil are reported in barrels (fractions of barrels are not allowed).

Volumes of gas are reported in MCF (thousand cubic feet) at a pressure base of 14.73 psi and a temperature base of 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Any other unit of measure should be converted to MCF for gas and barrels for oil and water.

Production, sales, and injection volumes and pressure data are reported on an individual well-by-well basis and by reservoir, if the well produces from multiple reservoirs.

Non-producing wells (shut-in, dormant, and temporarily-abandoned wells) are reported on Form 2. They must be reported on a monthly basis.

Prerequisites

There are two prerequisites for running this report:

Master data has to already exist (well, well completion, etc.)

PRA Production has to have run successfully

Customizing:

Follow the instructions on how to set up customizing tables for the Wyoming report, which are contained in the Production Regulatory Reporting framework documentation. The following fields can be customized: unit name, field override, reservoir code, and reservoir override.

Procedure

Use the central production regulatory reporting framework tool to set up Reg. IDs, generate the report, and view records (see: Using the Production Regulatory Reporting ‘Framework’ ). The relevant path is: Logistics à Production and Revenue Accounting à Production, Tax and Royalty Reporting à Production Regulatory Reporting à New Regulatory Reporting à Master Setup and Report Submission

This documentation only outlines the special data entities and particularities unique to the Wyoming Form 2 Report.

Some information on data entities specific to Wyoming reporting:

Master data setup

On the Report Master Data Setup screen, in the Rep.Agency field, choose: Wyoming.

The system will now default Wyoming Form 2 into the RepReport field.

On the Data screen tab, you can customize the following fields: Field Name, and Reservoir Name, field code, reservoir code, state reservoir code, and unit number.

The following are the data entities (fields) unique to the Wyoming report

State reservoir code

The underground reservoir from which the well is drawing product. This field, together with the state county code, the state well code, and the state code, make up the API ID that identifies a well drilled for the purpose of finding crude oil or natural gas.

Unit name

The ID for a unit that is assigned by the general land office of the state of Wyoming.

Type of project

A three-character ID that identifies the production as a project being undertaken.

Injection source

Indicates the source of the material being injected into the well.

Section

A number assigned by the WOGC indicating the location of a well within a one-square mile area within the township and range.

Township

The state-assigned ID that indicates the location of the well with respect to the base meridian.

Sidetrack

ID that represents a path in a field around some obstruction in the well. It is part of the well ID.

Well status

The current status of the well.

API gravity

The API gravity of the well.

Water barrels

The amount of water used, in barrels.

Gas produced

The amount of gas produced by the well.

Oil barrels sold

The number of barrels of oil sold from the well.

Injection days

The total number of days that material was injected into the well.

Cumulative injection

The total volume of material injected into the well.

Tubing pressure

The pressure within the tubing in the well.

Total injection

The total injected volume.
