Drilldown Function
You can use the drilldown function to vary the level of detail in which the information is displayed, i.e. you can view the data displayed in a list according to specific criteria.
There are two types of drilldown, the characteristic drilldown and the hierarchy drilldown.
A characteristic value is shown in detail with regard to a characteristic (for example, material, material group, vendor, period).

A characteristic value is shown in detail with regard to an existing hierarchy (vendor class, material class, product group).
You can use both drilldown types in combination.
The function
Switch drilldown
enables you to change the way in which you view the data displayed in the list.
