Dead Stock
Dead stock is the part of your warehouse stock that has not been used for a certain period of time (see illustration).
The dead stock value is calculated by multiplying the dead stock with the current price.
A dead stock analysis allows you to identify materials with inefficient amounts of stock. Surplus stocks of the material can be viewed and you can check important control parameters such as safety stock.
