General Hierarchies
All the information systems in LIS contain an easy-to-use tool that allows you to create general hierarchies.
This tool allows you to create and change any hierarchy according to individual criteria for characteristic values (such as plant, material, vendor, etc.) easily and quickly.
In the standard analyses you can evaluate key figures by using the
Hierarchy drill-down
function for the individual hierarchical levels. To do this, read

This is also possible for distinguishing between the general hierarchies in the standard analysis. To do this, read Executing Standard Analysis .
Caution
The general hierarchies are compatible to the data evaluation in LIS and can therefore only be used within the scope of the standard analyses in LIS. They form an enhancement of the already existing SAP classification and standard hierarchies for evaluating hierarchies in LIS.
