  Creating Evaluation Structures with Reference to an Evaluation Structure

When you create an evaluation structure, the system automatically carries out the following processes:

If the information structure, to which an evaluation structure refers, has changed, then the system then regenerates the evaluation.

If the information structure, to which the evaluation structure refers, no longer exists, then the system deletes the evaluation structure.

If there is no evaluation structure, but an information structure exists with the same name, the evaluation structure is regenerated for the information structure.

If you want to create an evaluation structure with reference to one or more existing evaluation structures, proceed as follows:

From the information system menu, select Flexible analyses Evaluation structure Create The initial screen appears.

In the Evaluation structure field, enter the name of the evaluation structure that you want to create .

The name of the evaluation structure must begin with the letters ZF.

Also provide an explanatory description of the evaluation structure.

Select Evaluation structure Create with reference Evaluation structure reference

The definition screen appears.

In the definition screen, you can now combine the characteristics and key figures from a evaluation structure of your choice.

Please note the following cases:

An information structure exists, but there is no evaluation structure for this information structure.

The information structure, to which an evaluation structure refers, has changed.

If one or both cases applies, a dialog box appears when you select the characteristics or key figures. The evaluation structures to which these cases apply are displayed in this dialog box. PressEnter. A window appears with the question about whether the displayed evaluation structures should be regenerated. If you answer Yes, the evaluation structures will be regenerated.
