 Editing Characteristics and Key Figures

If you select Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Key figures, Next navigation step a dialog box appears with a list of all the key figures you specified in the definition. Similarly, the function Next navigation step Edit Next navigation step Characteristics Next navigation step presents you with a list of all the characteristics you specified in the definition. You can now edit the list of key figures or characteristics. You can delete characteristics/key figures, change their sequence, or include new characteristics/key figures from the evaluation structure in your evaluation.

The procedure basically the same for editing both key figures and characteristics (hereafter referred to as fields). The following description therefore applies to both functions.

Deleting fields

To delete a field from the list, position the cursor on that field and select the function Delete .

Changing the field sequence in the list

To change the sequence of fields in the list, position the cursor on the field you want to move and choose the function Select . Now position the cursor on the place to which you wish to move the field in the list. To move the selected field to this point, choose the function Move. The selected field is placed exactly above the field on which you positioned the cursor.

Adding new fields from the evaluation structure

The Selection list function gives you a list of all the key figures or characteristics in the evaluation structure you have selected. The fields you have already chosen are marked.

If you want to include a new field in the list, position the cursor on that field and select the function Copy . The field is now copied to the selection list.

You can access the list of chosen fields by pressingENTER .

To return to the definition screen, pressENTER again.

Defining formulas/specifying display types

You can determine display types in the same way as when you create a definition. You can also define formulas and change formulas you have already determined. Please refer to Defining Formulas and Defining Display Types .

Layout control

You can check the layout of the report for the evaluation you have defined. You can see the schematic structure of the report, but no data is displayed.

To access the layout control, select the function Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Layout Next navigation step Layout control Next navigation step . End of the navigation path
