 Creating Ranking Lists

You can create ranking lists for the basic list and any list that has been created by a drilldown.

You can compile ranking lists of the best (Top N) or worst (Last N) characteristic values for a key figure.

Examples: Ranking Lists

A list of the Top N is sorted in descending order, a list of the Last N is sorted in ascending order according to the values of the selected key figure.

To create a ranking list, proceed as follows:

  1. Position the cursor on the key figure in the list (or key figure column) for which you want to create a ranking list.

  2. Select:

    (for a ranking list of the best values for the selected key figures)

    or

    Start of the navigation path View Next navigation step Last N End of the navigation path

    (for a ranking list of the worst values for the selected key figures)

    A dialog box appears in which you can enter the number of characteristic values for a ranking list.

  4. Enter the number of characteristic values that you want to have included in the ranking list in the Number field.

  5. To view the ranking list, pressENTER .

You can now sort the ranking list further, in accordance with a different key figure in ascending or descending order (see Sorting Lists ).

Canceling Ranking Lists

To return to the point from which you created the ranking list, select:
