This iView is the same as the iView Start Processes from the Work Overview, with regards to the scope of functions and the prerequisites. The only difference is that the HR Administrator has various options for selecting the required employee in the Start Processes iView of the Employee Information workset:
If the HR Administrator selected an employee when opening the Employee Information workset, the Start Processes iView refers to this employee.
If the HR Administrator has not selected an employee, he or she sets the required employee directly in the Start Processes iView.
Integration
This iView uses the Web Dynpro application asr_process_execute. This Web Dynpro application is also used by the following iViews:
Start Processes (in the workset Work Overview)
This Web Dynpro application is also accessed when the HR Administrator performs a work item in the Worklist.
Configuration
In the standard system, the application parameter GET_PERNR=X is stored for the iView. Meaning that when the HR Administrator has selected an employee in the Employee Information workset, the portal gets the employee's personnel number from the temporary storage and transfers it to the iView. Then the HR Administrator no longer needs to specify the employee concerned in the iView.
