Installing an Info CenterYou can access the file dms_km_installation.zip. This file contains all the files you need to install the mySAP PLM DMS-KM Connector.
Extract this file. In the SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 Service Pack 4 you get a directory with the following structure:

The following procedures for a new installation describe an example. For example, replace the system data (such as system name, client, and server) with data specific to your company.

From the
directory dms_km_installation.zip , copy the file DMSRepositoryConnector.par to the portal server in the following target
directory:
C:\usr\sap\EP60_j2ee\j2ee_00\cluster\server\services\servlet_jsp\work\jspTemp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd
2. From the directory dms_km_installation.zip, import the file com.sap.pct.plm.dms.dms_km_connector.epa to the portal server. The following three predefined iViews are imported:

¡ Search
You can find the imported iViews under Content Administration ® Portal Content ® Democenter ® iView ® DMS_KM_Connector.

4. Configure the application Retrieval and Classification (TREX).

1. All superior portal objects, such as the Workset for mySAP ERP DMS Connector for KM, the portal pages and the roles are not in the dms_km_installation.zip file. Create these objects manually.
2. In your portal, choose Content Administration ® Portal Content ® Content Development.
Create new folders, pages, worksets, and roles by using the context menu.
3. Create a new folder. Choose a description for the folder, such as DMS-KM.
4. Create the following three portal pages by using the context menu for the folder. All three pages should consist of only one column with full width (Page Layout: 1 Column (Full Width):
§ A page, with, for example, the technical name browse_showcase, and the description Browse
§ A page, with, for example, the technical name explore_showcase, and the description Explore
§ A page, with, for example, the technical name search_showcase, and the description Search
a. For all pages, choose, the value FULL_PAGE for the attribute Height Type , as in the property category Appearance Size, and save your entries.
b. Add the three imported iViews for the portal pages (same name for each iView on each page). In the context menu for each iView, choose Add iView to Page ® Deltalink.
5. Create a new workset. Choose a description for the workset, such as DMS-KM.
a. Choose a Description, such as DMS-KM.
b. Set the attribute Point of Entry to Yes, and save your entries.
c. Add three portal pages to the workset. In the context menu for each portal page, choose Add Page to Workset ® Deltalink.
6. Create a new role. Choose a description for the role, such as DMS-KM Connector.
a. Choose a Description, such as DMS KM Connector Role, and save your entries.
b. Add the workset to the role. In the context menu for the workset, choose Add Workset to Role ® Deltalink.
7. Assign the role to the user.
a. Choose User Administration ® Roles andfind the user you want.
b. When you find the user, choose Edit.
c. Find the role that you want to assign.
d. To assign the role to the user, choose Add.
8. Assign the new roles to all users of the mySAP ERP DMS Connector for KM.
You can log on using Single-Sign-On (SSO). You must import the SSO logon for the portal in the backend system.
