Procedure documentation Suppressing Output of Cover Sheets Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Formats for continuous forms printing (such as INCH11, INCH8, and so on) should generally not print cover sheets. Standard SAP formats for continuous forms printing are defined so that the cover sheet is suppressed.

To suppress a cover sheet, enter a comment line in the cover sheet action for each of the affected formats. A comment overrides the default use of the X_PAPER cover sheet but produces a NOP, null operation, when the format that contains the action is used.

Example

The Cover Sheet action for the standard SAP HPLJ4 (Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 and compatibles) INCH8 format is defined as follows:

# No cover sheet

The # character at the start of a line produces a comment line in actions.
