Use

Once the printer and output queue have been configured on one iSeries (in our example, SAPDB), the necessary settings have to be made on the other iSeries ( SAPAPPL).

Procedure

...

       1.      Set up an output queue on the first iSeries (in our example, SAPAPPL). To do so, enter the following command:

CRTOUTQ OUTQ(P516) RMTSYS(SAPDB) RMTPRTQ(PRT1) CNNTYPE(*IP) DESTTYPE(*OS400) TRANSFORM(*NO)

Note

The parameter CNNTYPE in command CRTOUTQ must be set to value *IP.

       2.      To start the printer, enter command STRPRTWTR .
