Purpose

 This component enables you to run payroll for all employees in accordance with legal and business requirements.

Implementation Considerations

SAP HR Payroll China should be implemented in cooperation with the project team implementing other areas of SAP Human Resources (HR), in particular Personnel Administration.

Integration

SAP HR Payroll China is an integral part of the SAP Human Resources component, and therefore closely linked with SAP HR Time Management. It is also fully integrated with other SAP components, such as Financial Accounting and Controlling. You can run payroll using a combination of SAP and third-party products.

Features

The SAP Payroll component enables you to perform gross and net calculations. It provides all the functions required for:

·        Payments

·        Calculating deductions

·        Calculating employee and employer contributions to Public Housing Fund and social insurance

·        Processing sick leave payment

·        Calculating taxes

·        Reporting on numerous aspects of payroll, such as tax reporting
