Use

Use the Class Builder settings to change the display of the classes and their components.

Procedure

To change the Class Builder settings:

  1. Choose Utilities ® Settings.
  2. Select the appropriate settings on the Class Builder title element and confirm them with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  3. The selected settings will take effect in the Class Builder when you select the Filter checkbox.

Options

You can select the following options:

Meaning (if flag is set)

Display filter

Also display inherited components

Enhance the display of inherited components (attributes, methods, interfaces, events). The superclasses of the heirs and not only the direct heirs are used here.
The inherited components are highlighted in
blue in the component display.

Also display included interface components

Enhance the class display with the interface components.

Display public components only

Restrict the display to include public components only.

Display constants

Enhance the display for attributes to include constants. The constants are marked in the attribute display with the type Constant.

Scope filter

Display instance components only

Restrict the class display to instance components.

Display static components only

Restrict the class display to static components.

Display all components

The entire class is displayed with this standard setting.

Display aliases

If there are alias names (title element Aliases) for interface components, these are output in the method display instead of the long name.

Group by interfaces and superclasses

The components of the displayed class are sorted by superclass component and by interfaces included.

You can show or hide the grouping by double-clicking on the name of the superclass or interface..
