The assignments of a force element to objects/levels in Accounting, Funds Management, and Project System.
To include force elements in accounting, funds management, and project system processes, you assign force elements to the relevant objects/levels.
· Cost centers
· Cost center groups
· Profit centers
· Profit center groups
· WBS elements
· Funds centers
As a result, lower-level force elements and positions inherit the assignments of the higher-level force element, unless an assignment has been made directly for them.
The assignment of a cost center forms the basis for the personnel and logistics processes for force elements. The assignment of a profit center and of a cost center/profit center hierarchy node forms the basis for the generation of CO standard hierarchies.
For more on editing these assignments, see Assigning Account Assignment and Budgeting Objects.
