Creating and Changing Work Centers by Copying

Prerequisites

When you are creating or changing a work place, you can copy data from an existing work center. The selected data that is copied from the existing work center overwrite any data that has already been entered. Afterwards you can change this data.

Procedure

Enter the plant and the key which identifies the work center that you want to use as a reference. Choose Enter.

If you are already in one the work center views choose Edit ® Copy from and specify the reference.

The Copy from dialog box appears.

Select the data you wish to transfer.

Choose Copy.

Caution

If you change a work center that is assigned to an operation, only the default values that have the reference indicator set are also changed in the operation.
