Use

You use this function so that a work center takes advantage of a business process.

Prerequisites

The formulas you use have been created in the Implementation Guide for the work center, under Capacity Planning ® Work Center Formulas.

Features

You can assign a work center to a business process for a period. A work center can only be assigned to one business process for a period. The business process appears in the routing as a default value. You can prevent this default from being changed in the routing by setting the reference indicator.

You have to assign a formula to every business process. This formula is used to control the quantity-based use of the business process.

Note

Be careful not to mistake these formulas for the formulas that are used in process cost allocation for process templates.

The cost center entry is not processed further. If you have not assigned your work center to a cost center, you can enter a phantom cost center.
