Configuring Single Sign-On
You must make Composite Application Framework Core (CAF Core) services available for use in SAP NetWeaver Portal (Portal) services via Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication. You do this to provide user credentials to external systems.
After logging on to the J2EE Engine, user info is encoded using a private signing key and sets up a SSO logon ticket (cookie with encoded user credential). Other systems have imported a signing certificate from a specific system to decrypt this information. As a result, a signing certificate must be imported from each trusted system in CAF Core when not using entity services configured as external remote function calls (RFCs). If this is not the case, follow the process flow in Configuring Single Sign-On for RFCs.
The following process steps help you to achieve this task:
1. Exporting the Enterprise Portal Signing Certificate
2. Exporting the J2EE Signing Certificate
3. Importing the Enterprise Portal Signing Certificate
4. Importing the J2EE Signing Certificate to Enterprise Portal
