Workflow Templates 

We deliver three workflow templates for personnel change requests, which you can use as examples for your own workflow templates. Each approval step is realized via the Subworkflow ApprovePCR (WS 50000033).

·        ProcessPCR_0 (WS50000042)

This template depicts an approval process without an approval step. When you send the request, the system gives the change request to the administrator. In the example delivery, this workflow template is assigned to the following change requests:

¡        Change Employee Group / Subgroup

¡        Change Personnel Area / Subarea

¡        Change Working Time

·        ProcessPCR_1 (WS50000041)

This template depicts a one-step approval process. When you send the request, it goes to an approver for approval, before it goes to the administrator. In the container you must enter the ID of the rule that is used for agent determination for the approver. If, during the approval step, the form is sent back to the request author, and if the author resends the request with changed data, the approval process is triggered again.

As approver, the example uses the rule ApproverNext, which gives the form to the manager who is superior to the request author in the organizational hierarchy.

The workflow template ProcessPCR_1 is assigned to the following change requests:

¡        Request Special Payment

¡        Change Position

¡        Change Position (Enhanced)

¡        Request Promotion

¡        Request Separation

¡        Request Separation (Enhanced)

·        ProcessPCR_2 (WS50000031)

This template depicts a two-step approval process. In the workflow container you must enter the rules that are used for determining the approver. If the two-approval process is interrupted and the form resent, the approval process runs again, as in the template ProcessPCR_1 (WS50000041).

In the example, the system determines the user name of the approver who is stored in a field on the request form (rule ApproverForm). The second approver is the manager superior to the request author in the organizational structure (rule ApproverNext).

The workflow template is assigned to the change requests Request for Transfer and Request for Transfer (Enhanced).
