Posting item with a posting date in the future.

You can use "Planned items" to edit items with a posting date in the future that are forwarded to the current account system from a payment transaction system. You can also edit items with a future posting date that were entered online.

Transactions with a posting date in the future are first saved temporarily in the current account system. Then, an executable program (report) compares the posting date with the current date. If they match, the system makes the final posting.

Items with a future posting date are first saved in a table in the current account system and then checked by means of an executable program (report). The report compares the posting date with the current posting date in the system. If they coincide, the system makes the final posting.

While temporarily saved in the table, the amount with the future posting date does not apply for any limit checks for current transactions. There is also no updating on the general ledger or of the transaction figures.

From the time when the item is posted it is handled as a normal item.
