Editing MIME Objects 

Use

With the Web Application Builder you can edit MIME objects that are language-specific or those that are not. The changes made to MIMEs in the local editor can be copied directly to the Repository.

Prerequisites

MIMEs are assigned to the particular local editor based on the current Windows settings.

Procedure

       1.      Select the relevant MIME object from the object list of the Internet service by double-clicking.

       2.      Go to Change mode.

Note that in display mode the changes made to MIME objects in the editor are not loaded back into the Repository.

       3.      Choose Local Editor in the application toolbar.

The relevant editor is started as defined by the Windows settings.

       4.      Make the changes in the editor and save them.

 

If you want to replace an existing MIME object with another one, perform steps 1-2 (above) and then choose New Contents in the application toolbar. The original MIME object is not deleted here.
