You can use the Employee Remuneration Info infotype (2010) to enter wage types manually and specify information directly for Payroll.
The wage types used in this infotype are not created automatically by payroll. You can use the infotype to store manually calculated wages, bonuses for unpleasant or hazardous working conditions, bonuses, and other non-standard wage types. The system uses this information to calculate the employee’s gross salary.
If you do not use Personnel Time Management in your company, you can also use this infotype to record your employees’ work.
The wage types are subtypes of the infotype. There are the following ways of defining remuneration for work performed:
...
· Number of hours, number, unit, and amount
The fields in which you have to enter data depends on the wage type:
¡ Certain wage types are valuated indirectly in Payroll. You do not have to specify an amount or number/unit in this case.
¡ For other wage types, you can or must enter the amount and number/unit.
The system checks your entries and, for those that are not permitted, notifies you of the fields in which you have to enter data.
· You can enter a different payment to store additional payment information. This is only necessary if you have not made an entry in the Amount field.
· If you enter overtime, the system usually automatically determines how the overtime is to be valuated. If you enter an overtime compensation type you can specify a different compensation from the one usually used for the wage type.
· You can enter account assignment information for a employee remuneration information to specify how the work performed is to be posted to applications in Financial Accounting and Logistics.
You can adjust the wage types and subtypes of this infotype to your individual requirements in Customizing. You can specify, for example:
· The wage types that can be used
· The fields in which data can be entered
· Whether additional information can be entered for Accounting and Logistics
· Whether a wage type can be used once or several times per payroll period.
If you work with time evaluation, you can transfer time balances directly using the Time Transfer Specifications infotype (2012), which in turn has an effect on remuneration.
