This workflow scenario is controlled by the Time Management document databases. The workflow is not triggered or continued until a status is changed.
The system uses the PTREQ_STATUS_TRA system table (Status Transitions) to determine how the workflow is controlled. The table specifies which document status changes and events trigger, continue, and terminate the workflow.
The interface between the application functions and the workflow system is made possible by object technology. For this workflow scenario, the class interface CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS (Document Database: Workflow Connection) acts as the object type.
The tasks used are available as ‘modules’. You can also use them, unchanged, in other workflow scenarios.
