Options
You make standard settings and modify the XML forms builder in line with your requirements in the options.
You set the options on the following tab pages:
· Project
You define general settings for your project on this tab page, such as the project ID and a project name if required.
¡ The Project ID defines the name of the project folder in the folder /etc/xmlforms. The ID must be unique and cannot contain special characters.
¡ The project name is displayed in the user interface, for example, in the commands for creating new form-based documents.
If you do not enter a project name, the system uses the project ID on the user interface instead.
Note the following options:
¡ Use Hidden to set whether commands for the project should be available on the user interface (see XML Documents on the Flexible User Interface). For example, you can hide a project that was merely created for test purposes.
¡ For information on checking the project when you save it, see Project Check.
· Paths
You use this tab page to set the standard paths for your project.
¡ Data Path: Complete path to the folder in which the XML documents are saved (for example, /documents/MyNews). The setting in the iView properties overrides the setting in the project options. If you do not specify a path in the iView properties or in the project options, the path /documents/<Projectname> is valid by default.
¡ Test Data Path: Complete path to the folder in which the XML documents that you create in the project preview are stored.
¡ Test Item Name: Name of an XML document for testing the Show form. Enter the name without the extension (.xml).
¡ Root Path for Project: Defines the KM folder that is opened by default if you use input help in forms or the XML forms builder. For more information, see Priorities When Defining the Start Folder in Browser Control.
· Forms
You can change the settings for the forms in your project on this tab page.
Use HTML Code to allow or permit the execution of HTML code in label controls in your project. For more information, see HTML in Label Controls.
· Edit
You can change the settings for the borders on this tab page. Borders help you to align controls.
· Client
You can change settings for the client components of the XML forms builder that run on your local PC on this tab page.
