HR Form Editor (PY-XX-TL) 
Purpose
The HR Form Editor (or form editor) is a tool used in Human Resources to enable you to create or edit forms.
Implementation Considerations
The form editor has the following advantages:
- It is a central tool: You can use the form editor to edit forms from different application components.
- The form editor has a graphical interface which serves as an overview screen for the form to be structured, for example, complete representation of individual information levels.
- It can support creation of forms in several languages. If, for example, you delete a line, the form editor deletes this line in all available language variants.
- It provides additional plausibility checks: your entries are compared with the permitted tables for the form class and the country. If you make an invalid entry, an error message is displayed immediately.
- It has an automatic transport connection.
Features
The form editor has the following functions:
- Copy, create, or change forms
- Copy, change, or delete the form language
- Create, change, or delete subobjects in the form
- Transport forms
Constraints
Forms are entered in form classes in the SAP system. You can only use the form editor for particular form classes (for example, CEDT, CKTO, CLJN). The form editor does not support the following form classes:
TELU for time statements
TEDT for time statements
XXXX for wage type indicators
DOST for statistics for the Public Sector
CERH for data entry and statistics
