Definition

Authorization objects let you access IHC payment orders. The following authorization objects are available:

·        Authorizations for IHC actions (IHC_ACTION)

·        Authorizations for route definition (IHC_ROUTE)

·        In-House Cash Financial Status (IHC_CMSTAT)

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

For more information about authorization objects in the current account system, see Authorization Objects.

For additional information on the different uses of payment orders and IHC payment orders, see IHC Payment Order Versus Payment Order.

Structure

In addition to the standard transaction authorization check, the system also runs a check on the authorizations for certain parameters. The parameters that are checked depend on the authorization object:

·        A single action within a transaction

·        Bank area

·        Account

·        Currency

·        Transaction type

·        Amount

You can use the amount check for IHC payment orders. The amount can be restricted to a single user or an authorization group. The authorization group determines the currency and the maximum amount up to which a user has authorization to carry out a particular action. You can split the amount by bank area, account and transaction type. Due to the fact that you can use any currency, the system converts the amounts using the current rate.

A user's profile can contain the following authorization groups:

¡        One authorization group

¡        Several authorization groups

¡        No authorization group

If a user's profile does not contain any authorization groups, the system searches for an authorization group that corresponds to the user ID description. If it is successful, the system uses the authorization group it finds to run the check.

·        User to release payments in compliance with the principle of dual control

When payments are released that fall under the principle of dual control, the system additionally runs a check on the last user it was changed by. This user cannot be the same as the current user.
