Standard Templates

Definition

Standard templates are the templates for rooms and room parts that SAP delivers. These templates are completely preconfigured.

Use

After completing the basic configuration for the Collaboration component, you can copy the standard templates to your own namespace and set them for production use.

Caution

To prevent updates overwriting your templates, the delivered standard templates have been created in the protected SAP namespace. If you want to tailor them to the requirements of your company, you must copy the standard templates to a new namespace and then edit them there.
In addition, you can hide the SAP standard templates.

Standard Templates for Rooms and Room Parts

SAP delivers the following standard templates:

· Room templates (new version)

In the new versions of the room templates, the room structures have been unified. For example, all room templates provide the links to My Rooms and Related Rooms, show the room name on every page, and provide the links to the member list and maintenance of room relations on the Room Maintenance page. .

SAP Discussion Groups	Internal discussion groups for a team or project group (display on one level respectively) Display on one level means: If you open a level one object (folder), the system displays the level two content (folder content) in place of the level one entry. You cannot display more than one level simultaneously.

SAP Public Discussion Groups	Public discussion groups for a team or project group
SAP Public Documents	Publicly available documents in a room that are stored in the Content Management (CM) area of SAP Knowledge Management (KM) (display on one level).
SAP Public Documents	Publicly available documents area for a room (display on two levels)
SAP Public Minutes	Public display of meeting minutes
SAP Public News	Public display of news items (with a bulletin board)
