Procedure documentation Adding a Change Request to the Import Queue Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

Sometimes you may have to place in a queue a transport request that is no longer contained in any other queue or whose data was manually copied to the transport directory.

Procedure

To manually place a request in a queue:

  1. Call transaction STMS.
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. The import overview appears.
  3. Position the cursor on the SAP System in whose import queue you want to place the request.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. The import queue of the selected SAP System appears.
  5. Choose Extras ® Other requests ® Add. The dialog box Add Transport Request to Import Queue appears.
  6. Enter the number of a request or use the F4 help to select a request.

Note

The F4 help lists all transport requests that exist in the transport directory. You can restrict the request selection generically (for example, by entering DEVK*). This improves the performance of the F4 help.

  1. If you have activated Extended Transport Control, then you also have to enter the target client for which you want to flag the request for import.
  2. Choose Continue.
  3. Confirm the prompt.

Result

The request was added to the import queue.
