Partner Messages 

Definition

Messages that are sent to the SAP Credit Management system from two or more systems and that are linked to one another by means of an identical partner message ID.

Use

Partner messages enable you to ensure that the credit exposure is updated for a business transaction in SAP Credit Management across all applications and systems.

You always use partner messages if the data transmission in your system landscape is asynchronous. This is the case if a credit exposure is not transmitted to the SAP Credit Management system immediately when it is arises.
